Imran Afridi is a CISSP and CCSP-certified cybersecurity professional who founded Tech Guard to bring enterprise-grade engineering — secure-by-design custom software, AI workflows, and platform migrations — to small and mid-market businesses. A Virginia Commonwealth University graduate with deep experience in data protection, cloud security, and AI governance, Imran doesn't just advise — he implements.
His background includes work in data protection and governance at the enterprise level, giving him firsthand insight into the security and compliance challenges businesses face. He holds CISSP and CCSP from ISC2, AIGP (AI Governance Professional) from IAPP, AAISM (Advanced in AI Security Management) from ISACA, AWS Certified AI Practitioner, and multiple Microsoft Azure certifications.
As Tech Guard's lead implementor, Imran is hands-on with every client engagement. Whether designing a zero-trust network, deploying AI agents that handle help desk triage, or modernizing a company's entire IT stack, he brings a rare combination of strategic vision and technical execution.
His approach is rooted in a simple philosophy: technology should be a competitive advantage, not a source of frustration. Based in Virginia and serving businesses across Richmond and Arlington, Imran leads a team that treats every client's business as if it were their own.

Waleed Afridi
Waleed Afridi is a cloud engineer and AI automation specialist who joined Tech Guard after 8+ years in high-value client sales across real estate and business operations. Microsoft Azure and AWS certified, he brings a rare blend of front-line client experience and deep technical execution.
His pivot from sales to engineering wasn't a reset — it was a leverage play. Years of closing complex deals taught him to listen first, surface the real problem, and design solutions clients can trust. He now applies that same instinct to architecting cloud infrastructure and agentic AI workflows, with additional cloud credentials currently in progress.
Waleed's goal is to operate as an agnostic cloud solutions architect — fluent across platforms and able to recommend what's right for the client rather than what's familiar. At Tech Guard, he pairs platform-neutral thinking with hands-on AI automation work.
